On May 18, 2022, General Secretary Xi Jinping delivered a video address at the Conference Celebrating the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and the Global Trade and Investment Promotion Summit, stressing that we should \u201csafeguard the security and stability of global industrial and supply chains, expand the pie of cooperation, and enable the fruits of development to better benefit people of all countries.\u201d
To fully implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping\u2019s important speech, the CCPIT held the First China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) in Beijing from November 28 to December 2, 2023.<\/p>

As the world\u2019s first national-level expo themed on supply chains, the first China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE), with the theme \u201cConnecting the World for a Shared Future\u201d, has effectively promoted the integration of upstream, midstream and downstream sectors, collaboration between large, medium and small enterprises, synergy among industry, academia, research and application, and interaction between Chinese and foreign enterprises. It has fulfilled the four core functions of trade promotion, investment cooperation, innovation aggregation, and knowledge exchange.
This expo is a major initiative by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) to fully implement General Secretary Xi Jinping\u2019s important instructions on maintaining the stability and smooth operation of global industrial and supply chains\u4e2d\u56fd\u653f\u5e9c\u7f51. It serves as an important platform for actively responding to the urgent aspiration of the international business community to deepen industrial and supply chain cooperation, a vital vehicle for advancing the building of an open world economy, and a new practice in upholding the vision of building a community with a shared future for mankind.<\/p>
